Hi everybody, Tracey and Steve from the library here..

We've been working hard here in the library kitchens trying to perfect our new home-made chocolate chip cookie recipe! We've just about nailed it...a few more little adjustments and the recipe will be ready! Then it'll just be a matter of baking them fresh every morning for all of you lucky customers!

So come along and taste our delicious creations, they'll be arriving on the counter sometime this week. See you soon...

SPRING HAS BELATEDY SPRUNG..

Hi its Steve and Tracey from The Library,

GOOD NEWS!!! The outside furniture has eventually come out of hibernation....WOOHOO!!

As I'm writing this the sun is actually shining, and there are HAPPY CUSTOMERS basking in the spring sunshine. (Well apart from the guy eating the Greggs Pasty...Bloody cheek - should've gone to Stewart & Co. ) Honestly, it makes such a difference to the alfresco dining if you have a delicious home cooked meal from us...

TEAPIGS TASTING - SATURDAY 10TH APRIL

Alex from Teapigs (who make those posh silk teabags - green tea with mints my fave) is coming to Stewart & Co. Jesmond on Saturday to do a Matcha Green Tea tasting...This super duper tea has 137 x more antioxidants than standard green tea infused anapparently 70 x more than orange juice & 9 x the beta carotene level of spinach. How clever...maybe theres no need for that gym membership after all...

Sounds like the perfect weekend hangover cure to me so come down 11am-1pm for a cuppa - your banging head will thank you for it... If you can't make it, Matcha Green Tea is on sale in our Jesmond store plus enjoy the rest of the Teapigs selection in all 3 outlets...

Well, at Stewart & Co. we can take away all the hassle & create your own delicious dinner party for you (maybe minus the edible wall paper as an amuse bouche - that's a pre-starter to you non-foodies - though).

Hi, we're back again to let you know what's happening here at Stewart & Co at the City Library. Now, you might think we're being overly ambitious...but...the outside furniture is coming out of storage after its winter hibernation! So hopefully, you'll be able to enjoy some Al Fresco dining in the Spring sunshine! Positive thinking and all that...(its raining as I write this).
